This past Saturday, on the 27th of July 2024, we had the immense pleasure of performing at Club Woodham in South Woodham Ferrers for a very special occasion – Chris’s 60th birthday. The evening was nothing short of spectacular, filled with joy, laughter, and music that echoed through the hearts of everyone present.
Club Woodham proved to be an ideal setting for this milestone celebration. The ambiance of the venue is simply exquisite, with its elegant design and comfortable seating making it a hit with guests and performers alike. The staff were incredibly accommodating and ensured that everything ran smoothly, allowing us to focus on what we do best: bringing the music to life.
A Black and White Affair
The theme for the night was black and white, and most guests adhered to this classy dress code. The monochrome attire added a touch of sophistication to the event, creating a visually stunning and cohesive atmosphere. It was amusing to spot a couple of guests who missed the memo, but their colorful outfits only added to the charm and uniqueness of the evening.
A Diverse Setlist
One of the highlights of the night was the opportunity to play a variety of songs that we don’t often get to perform. This gave the event a special twist, as we were able to dig into our repertoire and bring some rarely played gems to the stage. From classic hits to lesser-known tracks, the audience was treated to a musical journey that spanned different genres and eras, reflecting the diverse tastes of our birthday celebrant, Chris.
The Celebration
Chris, surrounded by friends and family, was in high spirits throughout the night.
