ARE YOU INSURED? (MY VENUE WANTS TO KNOW)
We are insured. We have Public Liability Insurance up to 10 million pounds (which is underwritten by Covea Insurance PLC.) Our policy is available to download on the home page.
WHAT KIND OF MUSIC WILL YOU PLAY?
We have access to over 13,000 songs on a computer, and 90 million songs via our streaming service as a back-up. We can almost certainly play what ever you like. If you tell us in advance of any obscure songs, we can have those ready on the night also.
CAN I CHOOSE THE MUSIC?
Absolutely. We encourage this as you will have more of an idea of what will work well at your event as no two events are the same.
CAN I PLUG MY PHONE IN AND USE MY PLAYLIST?
I’m afraid it is not possible, and we do not use low quality Youtube videos either. I have over 90 million songs available to me so I’m pretty sure we have most songs covered. what is the point of hiring me if you just want to sit by your phone and press play? You need a flow and in some cases you need to blend songs together which keeps people dancing. Gaps in songs will make guests leave the dance floor. It really isn’t a good idea.
CAN WE EXTEND OUR PARTY HOURS IF POSSIBLE?
It will depend on the venue first, and foremost, but yes, on occasions, please bring this up as close to your booking date as possible.
WHAT TIME DO YOU NEED TO START SETTING UP?
This depends on the package you have chosen, but typically an hour before the event start time is normally enough time.
CAN YOU SET THINGS UP AT THE VENUE EARLIER IN THE DAY?
This will depend on the venue first, but yes it is possible; however a surcharge will apply.
I’VE GONE THROUGH YOUR PACKAGES AND I CAN’T SEE SOMETHING THAT SUITS ME?
Call me and we can discuss a mix and match option that will suit you. There will be something for everyone.
HOW DO I BOOK YOU?
It’s always good to call us first to have a chat, then fill in our online booking form, which will then send me an email confirming your interest. I shall then add you to the diary and email you an invoice.
WHAT DEPOSIT DO I NEED TO PAY TO BOOK YOU?
Our deposits are £50 per booking, irrespective of the package you have chosen. Deposits are non refundable.
IF I BOOK YOU, WILL I GET ANYTHING IN WRITING?
We will email you an invoice outlining exactly what you are getting and for how long and the total cost, along with details on when the final payment needs to be made.
HOW MUCH ROOM WILL YOU REQUIRE TO SET THINGS UP?
The size will depend on the package you have chosen. At least 3m x 2m (Also check we are not sharing this space with any other musicians or bands. This could be an issue. If so, please speak to us as soon as possible. 07958110088
ARE YOU AN AGENCY? OR WILL IT BE YOU THAT WE SEE ON THE DAY?
We never sub-contract our bookings to any other DJs. When you book with Good Times, you get Good Times.
CAN WE MEET WITH YOU BEFORE HAND TO PUT A FACE TO A NAME?
